The Twin Falls School District is being proactive and following the recommendations and guidelines of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in preparation for potential local cases of coronavirus.
Our School District is working with the South Central Public Health District to monitor this rapidly changing situation. At this time, no cases of disease or infection with coronavirus have been detected in Idaho. The risk of infection in the United States is considered low.
The School District leadership has reviewed all policies and plans relevant to disease outbreak in our schools to ensure all necessary resources and procedures are in place to address any potential coronavirus impact in this area.
The District’s Contagious and Infectious Disease Policy and Emergency Treatment Procedures are current and up-to-date. These outline the District-wide plan for disease outbreak.
Please practice good hand hygiene, cover your coughs and sneezes, avoid sick people, and stay home when you are sick.
